a quiet return to aliveness, an invitation to slow down near the andes mountains in colombia

Between the Andes and the edge of the Amazon lies Maku — a hand-built sanctuary created for rest, reflection, and gentle renewal. For one week, we gather here to slow down, breathe more deeply, and return to a quieter, more spacious way of being.

This retreat focusses on restoring and regulating our nervous systems through: sound healing, mountain hikes, cacao ceremony, movement, nourishing vegan and vegetarian meals, and timeless moments to simply sit with nature, self and breath. We will visit a local indigenous community UITOTO tribe, receiving their ancestral wisdom that connects us to the spirit of the land and her people.

Tata Walter will offer the opportunity to sit in ceremony with natural medicine and prayer from - Kaqchikel Nation of Guatemala

This week is for anyone seeking tranquility, clarity, and reconnection — a gentle return to oneself in the embrace of nature on untouched and wild land.

A space to unwind. To breathe. To remember the peace that has always been within you.
